Josh Cullen has spent this holiday season giving back to local communities.
In a partnership with Sony Entertainment Philippines, the P-pop icon took part in a community outreach through the help of Reach Out and Feed Philippines Inc. The initiative, as part of the entertainment company’s “Season of Giving Campaign,” seeks to address malnutrition and other environmental challenges contributing to poor health amongst the children of these areas.
Josh took part in the outreach program at the San Pablo Apostol Parish in Tondo, Manila, where he performed songs from his debut album, Lost & Found, “No Control” and “1999.” He also performed his group’s hit single, “GENTO,” and invited children onstage to groove along to a viral dance challenge.
Dawn Cabigon, Founder of Reach Out and Feed Philippines Inc., expressed his appreciation towards Josh following this heartwarming event, “Collaborating with Josh Cullen brought a relatable and inspiring figure to both our team and the young beneficiaries. His visit to Tondo, where many children have parents who are incarcerated or make a living through scavenging, offered them a powerful example of hope and resilience. By connecting with the kids, Josh Cullen reminded them that, despite their current circumstances, they too have the potential to achieve their dreams with hard work and determination.”
Likewise, Josh himself noted, “Being involved in causes that reflect my values keeps my work authentic. This experience has shown me how even small collective efforts can lead to real, meaningful change. I’m grateful to be part of a campaign that not only provides support but also brings joy to the community.”
SB19’s Justin also participated in a similar event last November 7, spending a special day full of activities with the children at Better World Tondo.
