SB19 have emerged victorious at this year’s Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards.
On July 17, it was announced that the Kings of P-pop had won the category for Favorite Asian Act at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2024. With winners being determine through viewer votes, the five-member boy group bested the other nominees in the category — K-pop boy band ENHYPEN, Japanese girl group NiziU, Indonesian singer-actress Tiara Andini, and Malaysian singer Iman Troye — to come out on top thanks to the power and dedication of their fandom, the A’TIN. Their nomination was first announced last June 5, with voting lasting until last July 14 in the Philippines.
“Thank you, A’TIN and Nickelodeon!” the quintet said, expressing their thanks in an announcement post for their win. “Winning Favorite Asian Act at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is a dream come true for us and for our country, The Philippines. Your support and recognition mean everything. We are honored and excited for what’s next!”
The Kids’ Choice Awards encore telecast will be available this July 20, Saturday, at 3 PM (PHT) on Nickelodeon.
