SB19 have a new music video out.

In an announcement made last August 21, the P-pop Kings shared that they would release the long-awaited music video for “Kalakal,” their collaborative single with Filipino rap legend gloc-9.

The group performed the new single with Gloc-9 prior to its initial release at the Acer’s #AimLimitless concert in the Mall of Asia Arena last August 5.

The P-pop rap track is a fresh addition to their discography, introducing an entirely unique sound to their growing craft. Astounding both old and new listeners with their rap proficiency, SB19 is bringing back the furious sound of FlipTop-reminiscent Pinoy rap into the flourishing genre of P-pop. With blazing trap beats and fierce rhymes, the song is a war cry of the group’s determination and a demand for their place amongst the best of OPM.

Prior to teaming up, Gloc-9 made a surprise appearance during SB19’s finale concert that concluded their Pagtatag! World Tour. Together, they performed the rapper’s hit track “Sumayaw Ka,” teasing a preview of their later released rap collaborations.

This track follows their partnership with international rap sensation Apl.de.ap from the iconic Black Eyed Peas, “Ready.” Playing around with mixing the natural bounce of P-Pop and the bright and vibrant personality of rap, SB19 are exploring new sides to their artistry with “Kalakal” . Throughout this last year, the group have been making waves across the world, performing in international spaces like The First Take and winning Favorite Asian Act at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
