Filipino talent goes global yet again, as SB19 is set to make history as the first homegrown Filipino act to the stage at the highly anticipated Lollapalooza 2026.

News of the Kings of P-pop’s involvement at the world-renowned music festival was shared via the reveal of the Lollapalooza’s full lineup announcement, which was released today (March 17, Tuesday) via their official social media channels and website. Per the lineup announcement, SB19 is set to perform alongside the likes of Charli XCX, Jennie Olivia Dean, and more.

Set to take place over four days from this July 30 to August 2, Lollapalooza stands as one of the largest (and most renowned) music festivals in the world and one of the longest-running in the United States. Since its inception in 1991 by Perry Farrell, the festival has taken place in Chicago’s massive Grant Park, with performances spread out across 8 major stages.

Most recently, SB19 took the stage at Japan’s D.U.N.K. showcase, which took place at the K-Arena in Yokohama, Japan. For their performance, members PABLO, JOSH, JUSTIN, KEN (also known as FELIP), and STELL surprised audiences with a special collaboration performance with J-pop group, BE:FIRST, wherein they performed an unreleased collaboration song, “Toyfriend.”

The group is also scheduled to release their upcoming sophomore album, titled Wakas At Simula, this March 27, 2026, and will celebrate its release with a concert finale of the same name –– set to take place at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City, later this April 18.

SB19’s history-making feat also follows just a few months after the Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, was announced to perform at this year’s Coachella Arts & Music Festival, taking place at Indio Valley, in California over two weekends, April 10 to 12, and April 17-19. Both group’s success mark a significant step forward for P-pop on the international stage –– with their historic achievements bringing OPM closer to the rest of the world.
