SB19 and BINI have emerged victorious at the BreakTudo Awards 2023 in Brazil, winning separate competitive categories against other international artists. The annual awards ceremony celebrates notable talents in music and entertainment across the world, previously awarding the likes of BTS, BLACKPINK, Taylor Swift, and more.

While SB19 won “International Male Group“, BINI was recognized with the “International New Artist Song Award” for their song “I Feel Good.”

SB19 bested Big Time Rush, 5SOS, CNCO, EXO, Seventeen, Stray Kids, and TXT. Meanwhile, BINI’s “I Feel Good” beat the likes of Bellah Mae’s “Date Your Dad”, charlieonnafriday’s “Enough”, Sangiovanni’s “Fluo”, Daniel Seavey’s “I Tried”, Zach Hood’s “never knew a heart could break itself (acoustic)”, Nico Valdi and Rochy’s “Nico Valdi Produciendo a Rochy”, and La Cruz’s “QUÍTATE LA ROPA”.

Star Music PH has since congratulated BINI, saying the record label family is proud of them. Likewise, the girl group shared all the congratulatory posts. On the other hand, SB19 and its management, 1Z Entertainment, have yet to react to the news on social media as of writing.

Other winners of this year’s BreakTudo Awards include the likes of Jungkook and Jimin of pop powerhouse BTS, K-pop girl group TWICE, J-pop act BE:FIRST, “What Am I Made Of?” hitmaker Billie Eilish, and more.

The multi-awarded SB19 is a five-piece boy group from the Philippines consisting of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin. They debuted in October 2018 and have since become the first Southeast Asian and Filipino act to be nominated in the Billboard Music Awards as Top Social Artist in 2021. The band was also the first Filipino act to chart on the international Billboard Social 50 and Next Big Sound Charts.

BINI, dubbed as “the Nation’s Girl Group”, is comprised of eight members: Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. The girls won Best Female Group at the Saludo Excellence Awards 2021 and were chosen as a Spotify RADAR Artist of 2023. Since their June 2021 debut, BINI has been making waves online, on the ground, and on the charts.
