Less than a year past the release of her last record, Sabrina Carpenter has announced a brand new studio album, titled Man’s Best Friend.
Carpenter announced the forthcoming full-length LP across all her social media platforms, mentioning its release date of August 29, 2025. Alongside the news, the Grammy-winning pop sensation also revealed the album’s cover artwork, which heavily references the title of the record. “I can’t wait for it to be yours x,” she posted on the post’s caption.
Just recently, Carpenter dropped the lead single off the highly anticipated record with “Manchild,” co-produced by Jack Antonoff and co-written alongside Amy Allen and the pop sensation herself. The release was accompanied by a cinematic music video, directed by Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia. Check it out in its entirety below:
Man’s Best Friend follows the release of the critically and commercially acclaimed Short ‘n Sweet, which debuted atop the US Billboard 200 upon release, and became the second-longest running number one album of the year. The record and its tracks received a total of eight nominations at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, and took home the awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance for its viral single “Espresso.”
Carpenter also released a deluxe version of the Grammy-winning album, which added five bonus tracks to the record — including a duet rendition of “Please Please Please” featuring country music legend Dolly Parton.
