Rising P-pop Group 1621 Release Sophomore EP ‘Sapulso’
This follows their eponymous debut EP that was released just last year.

Today (April 11), the up-and-coming P-popP-PopShort for Pilipino pop, a movement of Filipino idol groups and solo acts who combine pop music, choreography, and polished production for local and international audiences. P-pop has grown quickly,Go to P-Pop Glossary boy group, 1621, have just released their latest EP entitled Sapulso. The fresh record is composed of six tracks, two of which have been pre-released — “Bagamundo” and “Bababa.”
In celebration of the EPEPShort for extended play, a collection of songs longer than a single but shorter than a full album, typically containing three to six tracks. Artists use EPs to introduce theirGo to EP Glossary, the group is set to hold an EP launch at 6 PM tonight (April 11, 2025) at Holic in Quezon City.

This marks 1621’s second EP, as they had previously released their eponymous debut EP last February 9, 2024. That record birthed popular tracks like “Ikaw at Ikaw” and “TOFU (Think of you).”
1621 were recently nominated for “Best New Performance by a Group” at the 37th Awit Awards, and were recently awarded the special award of ‘P-POPP-PopShort for Pilipino pop, a movement of Filipino idol groups and solo acts who combine pop music, choreography, and polished production for local and international audiences.
