Pop band PREP are heading to Manila this May 7 as part of their 2024 Asia tour.
The announcement was posted this morning (February 28). Their Manila concert will be held at The Filinvest Tent in Alabang. Tickets will be made available for purchase via PREP’s official website here. Sales will go live on Wednesday, March 6, at 10AM local time.
PREP’s last time in the country was for their 2022 Asia tour, where they played a sold-out show at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura, Taguig. They also held an afterparty at Nokal in Poblacion, Makati, where they performed a DJ set. Other invited DJs were Jason Soong and Nomoclassiq. It was scheduled to happen at 9PM.
Last February 21, the band premiered their collaboration with Thai singer-songwriter Phum Viphurit titled “GETAWAY.”
“We’re so glad you’re all digging ‘Getaway,'” the band shared in a social media post. “When we played in [Bangkok] in late 2022, Phum Viphurit joined us onstage to sing a verse of ‘On and On.’ It was such a vibe we decided to get in the studio together the next day! We wrote Getaway there and then and finished it the next year with Renaud Letang in Paris.”
The collaboration follows the release of their 2023 singles, “Open Up” and “One Day At A Time.” In 2022, they released their EP titled Back To You and a cover of Harry Styles’ “As It Was.”
