PinkPantheress has just released her second mixtape, titled Fancy That.
The newly released nine-track record embraces the English musician’s whimsical electronic sensibilities, sprinkled with UK garage influences and stellar samples that pay homage to early 2000s pop culture. The result is a mixtape that’s just as spritely and vibrant as PinkPantheress is — and could be defined as one of her best collections of songs to date.
Fancy That includes the previously released singles “Tonight” and “Stateside,” which have both gone on to gain viral prominence across social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, given their infectious energy. It serves as her second mixtape, following the release of To Hell With It back in 2021, and also follows after the release of her debut album from 2023, Heaven Knows. The latter featured several collaborations from artists like Rema, Central Cee, and Kelala, and also spawned the chart-breaking single “Boys A Liar Pt. 2”, featuring Ice Spice.
Most recently, PinkPantheress was featured on the track “Snap Out Of It” from KAYTRANADA’s latest album TIMELESS that was released last year, alongside a special collaboration with K-pop group LE SSERAFIM — a remix of their chart-topping hit single, “CRAZY.”
