ORCA are going to Thailand next year.

On October 29, the Filipino progressive metalcore act announced that they will be heading to Bangkok for the very first time to support I See Stars this January 2025. The show is part of the American electronicore icons’ 2025 tour of Australia and Asia, marking their long-awaited return to Thailand after eight years.

Presented by Slamman Booking Asia, the Bangkok show will also see ORCA share the stage with two Thai acts: metalcore group Defying Decay, as well as rock outfit Keyne.

Happening this January 31, 2025 (Friday), it will be held at Mr. FOX Live House in Bangkok. Fifty (50) pieces of Limited Early Bird tickets are priced at THB 1,500 while Pre Sale tickets are priced at THB 2,000, available now via Ticketmelon. Meanwhile, door price for tickets will be sold at THB 2,200 each.

Prior to the show in Bangkok, I See Stars’ tour will also see dates in Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth in Australia, as well as Tokyo, Aichi, and Osaka in Japan. They will be directly supported by American post-hardcore group Wind Walkers on all dates except for the Bangkok show.

Formed in late 2012, ORCA are best known their songs “11 Hour,” “Utara,” “Spirit Breaker,” “UNSLF,” and more. Last July 18, they released “Counting Timelines” — a collection of three singles including the song of the same name, “Sum,” and “A Mistake.” They are widely recognized as the first ever Wacken Metal Battle Philippines champions, becoming the country’s official representatives in 2022 at Wacken Open Air — the biggest metal festival in the world.

“This meant everything [to] me as I wasn’t just there as a member of ORCA. I was there as a representative of the Philippines,” shared guitarist Zyme Sanchez in an exclusive interview with Billboard Philippines. “Personally, that comes first before anything else, because we were gonna do what we were meant to do as a band regardless — [we] always [put our] best foot forward so we can make the Philippine metal scene global.”
