ONE OK ROCK are back with a new album, entitled DETOX, released today, February 21, 2025 (Friday). The J-rock veterans first announced its release last December 5, 2024. It serves as their 11th studio album overall, making it the highly anticipated follow-up to 2022’s Luxury Disease – the album containing the hit singles “Renegades,” “Wonder,” and more. The album’s release also notably coincides with the same year as the band’s 20th anniversary.

The album was preceded by four singles: “Delusion: All,” “Dystopia,” “+Matter,” and, most recently, “Puppets Can’t Control You,” which came out last January 19, 2025. Meanwhile, the band is also set to release a music video for the album’s third track “Tropical Therapy” – a song about escaping the harsh realities of life for while – later tonight at 10:00 PM (PHT). Tune in to the premiere below:

DETOX was created with the help of “a number of acclaimed producers,” which notably includes three-time Grammy winner Rob Cavallo (Green Day), as well as Grammy nominees Dan Lancaster (Bring Me The Horizon, Blink-182) and Pete Nappi (Jon Batiste).

Like all of their studio albums since 2015’s 35xxxv, the “Mighty Long Fall” hitmakers are released DETOX in two versions: an international edition with all-English lyrics, as well as a Japanese variant with a mixture of Japanese and English lyrics.

ONE OK ROCK were previously in Manila last September 2023, staging a fully sold-out show at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City as part of their world tour in support of Luxury Disease. It was their third overall concert in the Philippines, serving as the follow-up to their 2018 one in support of their album Ambitions, as well as their debut Manila show in 2015 in support of 35xxxv. In 2020, the band was also initially supposed to hold a concert in Manila as part of their ‘Eye Of The Storm’ world tour, but was cancelled due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
