Chart-topping Pinoy hip-hop group O SIDE MAFIA have joined forces with the one and only Al James for their latest track, “Kunan Mong Pic” (Take A Pic).
The track, which was released today (May 16) features Gee Exclsv, Madman Stan, and Costa Cashman working with their longtime collaborator BRGR and a verse by Al James. To celebrate the release, the trio is hosting a music video premiere event at Coziest flagship store in Manila today at 5 PM.
Joining O SIDE MAFIA and Al James at the music video premiere are rappers Alex Bruce, 2ICEY, THUGSTA, and 303KE!. The O SIDE MAFIA x Coziest merchandise line will also be available at the store from 10 AM to 7 PM today. Fans will also be able to get their merchandise signed by the trio on the day. In other news, O SIDE MAFIA were recently featured as part of Billboard Philippines’ Pinoy Hip-Hop Class of 2024. In their feature story, the trio talked about their journey of growing up in Malate, Manila and how it influenced their music. Madman Stan shared, “Nandun ‘yung mahihirapan ka gawin ‘yung mga bagay na gusto mo kasi ‘di sang-ayon ‘yung kapaligiran mo (You’ll find it difficult to do the things you want to do because your environment is not conducive to it).”
Nevertheless, they became the first Pinoy hip-hop group to top the Billboard Philippines Songs Charts with “GET LOW.” They then performed the track on Billboard Philippines Soundwave together with BRGR. Watch it here.
