MC Einstein, Yeng Constantino, Nik Makino To Release Performance Video For “Mahal Kita”
Exclusively teased through Billboard Philippines, the soon-to-be-released special video from the R&B singer, pop-rock star, and hip-hop artist follows the release of the single last August 1, 2025.

MC Einstein, Yeng Constantino, and Nik Makino are set to premiere a special performance video for their collaboration single “Mahal Kita” via Cornerstone Entertainment.
Exclusively announced through Billboard Philippines, the special video for the song — set for release on September 13, 2025 (Saturday) — follows the release of the track from the three Filipino artists last August. Serving as a straightforward and “brave love confession,” the laid-back single combines the respective sounds of R&B, pop rock, and hip-hop of the three acts, fusing together “their dynamic musicality and vocal styles.”
In a press statement, MC Einstein shared how “Mahal Kita” actually first started back in 2022, noting how happy he was for it to have finally come out. “Niluto nang matagal na panahon ‘to! Last year pa rin namin niyaya si Ate Yeng at ngayon lang din siya nagkaroon ng free time kasi sobrang busy nga ng schedule niya. At ngayon, buo na siya, nakalabas na ang song, at palabas na rin ‘yong mga inihanda namin para rito.”
(“We cooked this up for a while! We had been inviting Yeng since last year and it was only now that she got free time because her busy schedule was busy. And now, it’s finally finished, the song has been released, and we are ready to come out with other things in store for it.”)
Adding to this, Nik Makino revealed that the song came about after MC Einstein sent him the song and surprised him that Yeng Constantino, whom Makino looked up to, would also be teaming up with them for it. “Mayroon akong unang kantang ipinasa kay MC Einstein, tapos binalikan ‘nya ako nito—ng “Mahal Kita” na track. Nagulat na lang ako, featuring Yeng Constantino!. Kaya, salamat dito at naka-featuring ko si Yeng Constantino.”
(“I had this initial song I passed to MC Einstein, then he came back to me with this – the track called “Mahal Kita.” I was then surprised that it was featuring Yeng Constantino. So, it’s thanks to this that I got to feature alongside Yeng Constantino.”)
Meanwhile, Yeng Constanino shared that her involvement in the collanboration actually started when MC Einstein approached her backstage during a show they were both present at. “Nagkasabay kami sa isang gig. Habang nasa backstage kami, nag-ask siya, ‘Ate, p’wede ba tayong mag-collab?’ Dahil kapatid ko siya sa Cornerstone [Entertainment], it was easy to say yes. I think it was really easier — indie artist din kasi si MC e. Ang dami kong natututuhan sa kaniya — kung paano siya gumawa ng project.”
(“We were both playing at the same gig. While we were backstage, he asked me, ‘Can we collab?’ Because he was my brother at Cornerstone Entertainment, it was easy to say yes. I think it was really easier — MC is an indie artist as well. I learned a lot from him — how he went about making a project.”)
