Mayonnaise are heading to Japan this year.

On February 12, 2025 (Wednesday), it was announced that the esteemed Filipino rock band is set to stage a gig in Tokyo this May 2025. “It’s time for another OPM revolution!” stated show producer Pintig Productions, who first teased the show last February 3. The organizing entity is notably responsible for having recently put together the Japan leg of The Itchyworms’ ‘Akin Ka Na Lang’ tour last last January.

The forthcoming Mayonnaise show in Tokyo is set to happen this May 3, 2025 (Saturday) at Heaven’s Door in Sangenjaya. They will be joined by a number of Japan-based acts, some of which are also Filipino, including More Echo, Just Reboot, FUQA, His and Her Circumstances, and Al Jang.

Tickets are priced at JPY 4,000 (Early Bird) and JPY 5,000 (Regular) and are available here.

In other news, Mayonnaise are set to perform at the 10th edition of Wanderland Music & Arts Festival, happening this March 22 and 23, 2025. They will be sharing the stage with international acts Daniel Caesar, Chet Faker, Dayglow, and more, alongside fellow OPM artists Toneejay, Sinosikat?, Waiian, Urbandub, and ALYSON. Meanwhile, Mayonnaise released their latest studio album Thanks For Everything last May 24, 2024. It was the band’s first album in six years, following 2018’s Gusto Ko Lang Kasama Ka Palagi Pero Hindi Pwede.
