In a surprise music move, Maroon 5 and BLACKPINK‘s LISA have just announced their upcoming collaboration single.
Titled “Priceless”, the forthcoming track release was teased by Maroon 5’s frontman Adam Levine –– who posted a cryptic photo of himself and a mystery woman facing a city skyline. The woman was then revealed to be Thai K-pop superstar LISA, as they then released a teaser that showcases the two artists playfully posing with one another while a fifteen-second snippet of the collaboration song plays in the background. The official release date of the track has been scheduled for May 2, 2025, and avid fans of both artists can pre-save the upcoming single here.
“Priceless” is yet another entry in the list of prestigious collaborations between a LISA and a Western artist, following the release of the former’s debut studio album ALTER EGO –– which saw high-profile features and contributions from acts like Doja Cat, Rosaliá, Tyla, Megan Thee Stallion, RAYE, and Future among others. Her fellow BLACKPINK members have also dropped several prolific collaborations, such as ROSÉ and Bruno Mars’s chart-topping hit “APT.”, alongside JENNIE‘s collabs with Dua Lipa, Doechii, Childish Gambino, Kali Uchis, Peggy Gou, and Dominic Fike.
Just recently, Maroon 5 performed to a sold-out crowd at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City for their Asia 2025 World Tour. In Billboard Philippines‘ review of the concert, it was noted that the show “was brimming with energy and nostalgia for a night of their greatest hits” and that there was “no moment of dead air, as everyone could confidently sing the lyrics to each song.” On the other hand, LISA had just performed her first solo stage at 2025’s Coachella festival in California –– giving audiences a showstopping example of her high-energy performance skills and uncompromised artistry.
