Taking the next step in his solo career, Mark Tuan of global pop sensation GOT7 is set to debut his second EP, Silhouette. Blending alternative rock, pop, and vulnerable storytelling, the artist is set to launch the mini-album on November 7. Pre-save Silhouette here.
In an official press release, it was revealed that “(t)he album features 5 tracks, including the pre-released singles ‘hold still’ and ‘High As You,’ alongside 3 new songs.” Furthermore, the themes the new record will explore were detailed, “Silhouette is a visual diary, and the new era reflects his most intimate and authentic self, with personal handwritten notes and lyric sketches included in the album packaging. It serves as an invitation for listeners to step closer into his world.”
As aforementioned, this marks his second solo EP, following Fallin’, which was released in October of 2023. The six-track record was an exploration of the singer-songwriter’s pop-leaning production, with popular tracks like “Fallin'” and “Carry Me Out.”
Formerly debuting as the lead rapper of JYP boy group GOT7 in 2014, Mark Tuan came out as a solo artist in November 2021 with the single “last breath.” Additionally, Tuan founded his own independent label, Dreamers N Achievers (DNA), where he serves as CEO and artist.
