MAMAMOO’s Wheein is returning to Manila, but this time, it’s for her first-ever solo concert in the Philippines.
According to a statement from her agency, THE L1VE, Wheein’s Manila show will be part of her “WHEE IN THE MOOD [BEYOND]” World Tour and will take place this upcoming April 13, 2024.
Aside from the Philippines, the 28-year-old K-pop idol will be performing in Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan as part of the Asian leg of her tour –– which will kick off with a two-night performance in Seoul, South Korea this February 24 and 25. Though these are the only stops currently announced, THE L1VE has teased fans of the MAMAMOO member that more international stops of the tour will be made available once an official update is released.
Together with her fellow MAMAMOO members, Wheein performed at the Araneta Coliseum for their “MY:CON” World Tour last February 12, 2023, which came in support of their 2022 EP “MIC ON“, which featured the hit track ILLELLA. For Wheein’s solo career, she released her first full-length album “IN the Mood” on October 12, 2023, which sparked the popularity of its titular track, together with 17 featuring her co-member Hwasa.
Though the venue and ticketing details of Wheein’s return to Manila have yet to be revealed, stay tuned in this space for updates.
