MAMAMOO+ Cancel Manila Concert This December

K-PopK-PopA genre of South Korean popular music known for polished production, intricate choreography, and elaborate visuals, built around trainee systems and global fandoms. K-pop has a huge following in theGo to K-Pop Glossary duo MAMAMOO+ have cancelled their Manila concert, which was originally supposed to happen this December 17 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
The group’s agency RBW announced last November 3 that the concert has been cancelled due to “difficulties in proceeding due to local circumstances.” The concert was a part of their Two Rabbits Code Asia Tour, which has stops in Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
OctoArts Entertainment, who organized the concert, have yet to release a statement on the cancellation. Earlier this year, they also announced The Super Stage by K-pop in Manila, slated for August 2023. The concert was also cancelled without explanation. MAMAMOO+ was also part of the lineup, together with Sandara Park, kep1er, and Lapillus.
