K-Pop duo MAMAMOO+ have cancelled their Manila concert, which was originally supposed to happen this December 17 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

The group’s agency RBW announced last November 3 that the concert has been cancelled due to “difficulties in proceeding due to local circumstances.” The concert was a part of their Two Rabbits Code Asia Tour, which has stops in Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

OctoArts Entertainment, who organized the concert, have yet to release a statement on the cancellation. Earlier this year, they also announced The Super Stage by K-pop in Manila, slated for August 2023. The concert was also cancelled without explanation. MAMAMOO+ was also part of the lineup, together with Sandara Park, kep1er, and Lapillus.

MAMAMOO+ is a subunit of the girl group MAMAMOO. The duo is composed of members Solar and Moonbyul. The other members of MAMAMOO are Hwasa and Wheein. MAMAMOO released their first album, Hello, in 2014. The record’s lead single “Mr. Ambiguous” was one of the most popular tracks in Korea that year.
