Nine-piece K-pop act TWICE has just released a new Japanese single just in time for the holiday season, titled “Dance Again”.

The track, which features the group’s signature infectious energy, is a cute, cheerful catchy Christmas release along the veins of their other holiday releases — “Doughnut”, “Merry & Happy”, and “Wonderful Day.” It was released to coincide as the Christmas tie-up song with convenience store megachain FamilyMart, who will begin airing it on television today (December 12).

Aside from the song, TWICE has also released an accompanying ‘special’ music video for the song —with its content serving as a chronicle of the group’s whirlwind of a journey this 2023, going around various countries for their groundbreaking READY TO BE Tour.

Earlier this year, TWICE performed two sold-out shows at the Philippine Arena last September 31 and October 1 –– being one of the only two K-pop girl groups to perform in the venue. The READY TO BE tour began in South Korea last April 15, 2023, which came in support of the release of their latest mini-album of the same name, which was released on March 10, 2023.

TWICE will be doing an encore concert at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas next March 16. The show dubbed the “READ TO BE (ONCE MORE)” concert, is a one-night-only event in the United States.

This Las Vegas show follows TWICE’s Latin America leg in February 2024, with four shows across Mexico and Brazil. In a statement marking their excitement to perform once more, the group expressed their gratitude to their fans saying: “ONCE! We are so grateful to see so many of you on tour this year,” shared TWICE. “It’s been a huge honor to play for you all on our biggest tour yet. Let’s celebrate TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR READY TO BE once more together and make this a night we will never forget.”
