BLACKPINK‘s LISA is feeling romantic on her latest single, “Moonlit Floor.”

On the new track, the K-pop superstar demonstrates her softer side with a display of her ethereal vocals and talents as a rapper on this lovestruck anthem. Produced by Rykeyz, it’s a catchy and pleasant bop that showcases a new perspective of her stage persona, with the track adding a new set of sounds to her usual repertoire. Even as it samples the ’90s hit classic, “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None The Richer, LISA incorporates her own twist on the song — seemingly dedicating it to an important French man in her life.

LISA first teased the track during her performance at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City, having performed the track in its entirety for the audience in attendance. The performance marked her first solo festival performance, and preceded her highly anticipated showcase at the upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show later this October, also in New York City.

“Moonlit Floor” marks the latest entry in LISA’s string of smash-hit releases, which include “New Woman” featuring Rosaliá and the Billboard Philippines‘ chart-topping “Rockstar.” The latter peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100, while also charting at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Ex. US Chart and No. 4 on the Billboard Global 200.
