LiSA And Stray Kids’ Felix To Team Up For ‘Solo Leveling’ Season 2’s Opening Song “ReawakeR”

LiSA is joining forces with Stray Kids‘ Felix for a new single.

On November 27, veteran Japanese singer-songwriter LiSA announced through her official social media that she is releasing a new single entitled “ReawakeR.” It will serve as the opening theme song for season two of the popular action-fantasy animé Solo Leveling, ‘Arise from the Shadow,’ which is set to premiere in January 2025.

“ReawakeR” will see LiSA joined be by Felix, rapper and vocalist of K-pop superstars Stray Kids. This collaboration from the two artists significantly follows 2023’s “Social Path,” the joint track between Stray Kids and LiSA on the South Korean boy group’s first Japanese-language EP Social Path / Super Bowl (Japanese Ver.).

Notably, the new song is produced by renowned Japanese composer and songwriter Hiroyuki Sawano, the series’ soundtrack writer. He is also widely recognized for having worked on the soundtracks for other popular animé such as Attack on Titan, The Seven Deadly Sins, Blue Exorcist, Seraph of the End, and more.

At the time of LiSA’s announcement, the digital release date of “ReawakeR” has yet to be revealed. Watch this space for updates. However, she has noted that the forthcoming track will be released as her 23rd CD single and is set to come out on March 5, 2025 (Wednesday).

LiSA is best known for having provided the theme songs for popular animé series. This includes “Gurenge” for Demon Slayer, “Crossing Field” for Sword Art Online, and “oath sign” for Fate Zero. Her latest single “QUEEN” was released last October 13, 2024.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids released their ninth Korean mini-album ATE and their sophomore Japanese studio album GIANT last July 19 and November 14 respectively. They also just held the Philippine of their ‘DominATE’ world tour at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan last November 23.
