K-pop girl group Le Sserafim has just released their latest mini-album titled EASY.
Their label, Source Music, confirmed the news on the platform WeVerse and announced a scheduled release date of February 19, 2024 (Monday) at 6 PM (KST). The official announcement described the record as “an honest presentation of LE SSERAFIM’s insecurities and concerns that exist beneath their confidence.” In the same statement, the label also asked fans, the FEARNOTs, to show their love and support for the record on its release date of today.
EASY marks Le Sserafim’s third mini-album, following the release of their debut record FEARLESS (2022) and its follow-up ANTIFRAGILE (2022). The five-piece musical act just released their first full-length studio album UNFORGIVEN last May 1, 2023, and was released to both critical and commercial acclaim. The record debuted at number one on the Circle Album Chart and was certified million by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) for selling 1,000,000 units. Globally, UNFORGIVEN debuted at number 6 on the Billboard 200, becoming the group’s first top-ten album, and was awarded the Best Album Bonsang at the 38th Golden Disc Awards.
Le Sserafim also found recent success with the release of their first English single “Perfect Night“, which served as a tie-in release to Blizzard Games’ hit video game Overwatch 2 and peaked at number 18 in Billboard’s Global 200 chart. The group performed the track live in the Philippines during their first visit here for the Asia Artist Awards held last December, alongside their breakout Side-B single “Eve, Psych, & The Bluebeard’s Wife” at the Philippine Arena.
