Le Sserafim are coming back soon with a brand new mini-album that’s bound to make us go ‘CRAZY.’
The five-piece K-pop group have been teasing the record’s impending release this August 30, 2024 over the past few weeks, releasing track samplers, concept photos, and opening pre-orders for the record’s multiple variations. With five tracks confirmed to be a part of the project, each sampler showcases a primary focus on the genres of house and electronic music that are seamlessly incorporated into the group’s sound — making it a promising display of Le Sserafim’s ever-evolving artistry in every record.
To accompany all these promotional materials, their labels, HYBE and Source Music, have shared an official trailer that showcases what audiences and avid fans of the group can expect from this album rollout, both visually and sonically. CRAZY marks the fourth mini-album to be released from Le Sserafim, following just a few months after the group’s third mini-album EASY, which was released on February 19, 2024. The group first came to prominence in 2022 with their debut extended play, FEARLESS, and further rose in popularity with the release of its chart-breaking follow-up ANTIFRAGILE. In May of 2023, they released their first full-length studio album titled UNFORGIVEN, which spawned the viral hit B-side “Eve, Psyche, & The Bluebeard’s Wife.”
Last December 2023, the group made their first-ever visit to the Philippines and performed at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards, which took place at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan. Billboard Philippines included their appearance on stage as one of the ten standout performances of the night, describing it as a “memorable debut for Philippine audiences in attendance,” and also stating that there was “no question as to why the group was awarded the Best Performer award of the night.”
