Jazz fans, revel in delight!
Multi-instrumentalist and singer Laufey just shared a snippet of her upcoming Christmas collaboration with multi-Grammy award winner Norah Jones on her Instagram and TikTok. From the teaser posted, the two appear to be releasing a duet for the yuletide classic, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, which is sure to fit right in with the mood of the holiday season.
The eleven-second video clued fans in on what the long-awaited duet between the two would sound like, which as expected, features as many heavenly harmonizations as possible. Though no further details for the track, including an official release date have been revealed, fans are eager with anticipation to hear the rest of the track when it hits streaming and digital platforms soon.
This collaboration is just one of many musical ventures that Laufey has set her mind to in such a short amount of time. Just a few days ago, Laufey dropped a Christmas-themed EP titled A Very Laufey Holiday, which includes covers of Frank Sinatra’s songs, together with a previously released collaboration between her and singer Dodie. Her collaboration with indie rock star, Beabadoobee, A Night To Remember, was put out last month on October 20. Also last September, Laufey released her sophomore album, Bewitched, which was released to universal acclaim by critics.
