Prepare yourselves, the Last Dinosaurs are about to strike Manila.
Yesterday (September 18), it was announced that the Australian indie/rock band would be making a stop in Manila for their Asia Tour on December 8 later this year, in the Skydome, Quezon City. Other nations the band will be touring include Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Clockenflap Festival in Hong Kong. On an Instagram post, the band teased, “More exciting Asia news to come soon!”
This follows the band’s latest release, “KYORYU”, a 13-song jam-packed album. The album takes listeners on an almost inter-galactic journey, with its experimental and lucid style, paired with existential themes. This band’s most recent visit to Manila prior to this upcoming concert was in 2019, for the Summer Noise Festival where they were joined by none other than fellow indie stars Phum Viphurit, Japanese Breakfast, and more.
Tickets for this concert are priced at Php. 5,000 for VIP A, including a Meet and Greet, Php. 3,500 for VIP B, and Php. 2,500 for General Admission. These tickets will be available for purchase on October 13 here. In this upcoming concert, the doors are scheduled to open at 6 PM and the show starts at 8 PM.
