Little monsters, rejoice! Lady Gaga is bringing the world of MAYHEM to Asia very soon.
The legendary pop icon just announced a four-day residency in Singapore’s National Stadium as the only stop in Asia for her forthcoming MAYHEM tour. She is set to begin her highly anticipated showcase beginning this May 18, 19, 21, and 24, 2025 at the massive venue, which has a seating capacity of 55,000 people per concert.
Tickets for the show set to go on sale beginning March 18, for Mastercard holders, with other pre-sale dates available for Klook users on March 19, KrisFlyer and Live Nation users on March 20. General Onsale to the public begins later on this March 21. Though no further details have been revealed with regards to ticket prices, ticket sections, and the like, make sure to stay tuned at this space and at Live Nation SG for more information regarding the highly anticipated set of shows.
Gaga just recently released her seventh studio album of the same name last Friday, which saw the pop superstar channeling a varied set of musical influences that echoed David Bowie, Prince, and electronic and techno-heavy artists of her collaborators like Gessafelstein. Billboard Philippines described it as a “a fascinating mixture of what made many of her previous records so beloved, even as it integrates new segments that further explore what the multi-hyphenate musician is capable of as both an artist and visionary.”
According to an official press release, Lady Gaga described this album as a project that “started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved” — even likening the project to the process of “reassembling a shattered mirror: Even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way.”
Gaga’s most recent world tour was for The Chromatica Ball, which saw her perform two sold-out shows in Japan as the only shows in Asia for the tour. A special concert film of the entire showcase was also released earlier last year, exclusively on MAX. She last performed in the Philippines for her Born This Way Ball World Tour, selling out two whole shows at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City, Manila despite ongoing protests surrounding accusations of religious disrespect and upset.
