Following the conclusion of their sold-out BEAUTIFUL CHAOS tour, KATSEYE have officially released the long-awaited single, titled “Internet Girl.”
The newly released single sees the global pop girl group embracing their “chronically online” selves, playing into the song’s cheeky lyricism about their status within online pop culture. Produced by Mattman & Robin, Justin Tranter, and Shawn Wasabi, the maximalist pop track also serves as a self-referential and campy response to haters who complain about them being just about everywhere –– whilst carrying the same infectious energy as their earlier string of hits.
“Internet Girl” was first revealed to the public during the very first stop of their BEAUTIFUL CHAOS tour in Los Angeles last November, wherein the group surprised the fans in attendance with a performance of the new single. Fans were quick to hop on the track’s catchy nature, making several viral fancams, video edits, and more, building organic hype and anticipation for the single. Alongside the track’s release on digital and streaming platforms, a visualizer was also dropped on the group’s YouTube page, produced by 351 Studio. Check it out below:
Though “Internet Girl” marks KATSEYE’s first musical release of 2026, 2025 marked quite a busy and eventful year for the rising global pop phenomenons –– following the chart-topping breakthrough of their sophomore EP, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, a sold-out tour of the same name, and earning two GRAMMY nominations just two years into their career. BEAUTIFUL CHAOS spawned several chart-topping singles, including the hyper-pop hit “Gnarly”, the Latin-pop infused “Gabriela”, and the rising hit, “Gameboy.” The group also found viral success with their involvement as part of Gap’s ‘Better In Denim’ campaign, which saw spawn a brand new dance challenge to Kelis’ 2004 hit, “Milkshake.”
