After quite the wait, KATSEYE are officially making their first comeback with their forthcoming single, “Gnarly.”

Announcing the song via their official social media platforms, the five-piece global pop group, comprised of Sophia, Daniella, Yoonchae, Manon, Megan, and Lara, shared the upcoming track’s release date of April 30, 2025, together with several teasers and schedulers of their comeback campaign. The visuals so far place an emphasis on food-related elements, with several squelching sounds present in the video teasers.

As stated in the group’s scheduler, several concept photos and teasers are scheduled to be dropped prior to the track’s official release on April 30, with a choreography-centered music video and dance practice video also set to be released soon after.

“Gnarly” marks the first step forward as KATSEYE welcomes their new era, as it follows after the release of 2024’s SIS (Soft Is Strong), which marked their debut extended play as a group. The record spawned two hit singles, “Debut” and “Touch,” with the latter attaining viral heights both locally and worldwide, peaking at the No. 13 spot on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart.
