Fresh off the release of “Gnarly,” KATSEYE have just announced their second extended play, titled BEAUTIFUL CHAOS.
The upcoming record was announced through the group’s official social media platforms, wherein they shared the EP’s release date of June 27, 2025, alongside a heartfelt captuion that expressed their excitement about the project. “We are so excited to invite you into this beautiful and chaotic world that we have built. Thank you for being here,” said their posts online.
Alongside details of the EP’s release date, KATSEYE also revealed two cover artworks to the forthcoming record, with each showcasing a different vibe from one another. Both artworks are set to be featured on the physical copies of the EP, wherein fans can purchase either (or both) of the ‘Beautiful’ and ‘Chaotic’ cover variants depending on their preference. As the first glimpse of this new era, the group recently dropped their first single off the record “Gnarly,” that featured a techno-heavy and hyper-pop sound that differs significantly from their earlier tracks. In less than a week’s time, the track has continued to gain a viral presence across various streaming and social media platforms given the infectious nature of the track.
BEAUTIFUL CHAOS follows after the release of KATSEYE’s debut EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong), which spawned the viral hit singles “Touch” and “Debut.” The former was also re-released with a special guest feature from Tomorrow x Together’s Yeonjun, and peaked at No. 13 on the Philippines Hot 100 chart, and also at No. 58 of Billboard‘s Global 200 chart.
