KATSEYE have released their newest single, “Animal,” alongside a dark and edgy music video, which premiered on July 24, 2026.
Serving as the second pre-release single from their five-track third EP, WILD, the song “is a bold, flirtatious pop anthem that celebrates embracing your wild side,” says the press release posted on Weverse. “Featuring punchy rhythms and an infectious hook, the track radiates confidence and chemistry while showcasing KATSEYE’s evolution as a defining force in global pop.”
Days before the release, a 32-second teaser offered a glimpse of the track’s concept and visuals. Members Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae are all glammed up, dark and edgy. The snippet also features quick scenes from the music video, from hallways and office spaces to rooms illuminated by red lights.
Co-written by Ed Sheeran, “the song explores the tension between the polished versions of ourselves we present to the world and the uninhibited energy that emerges behind closed doors,” as stated in a press release.
Directed by KATSEYE’s frequent collaborator, Cody Critcheloe, the music video features Academy Award-nominated actress Demi Moore and offers a wild glimpse into the global girl group’s current era.
Filipino EYEKONS can also connect with the group as KATSEYE partners with Jollibee as global ambassadors for the beloved Filipino brand. This partnership is best represented by Jollibee’s cameo appearance in the music video.

The announcement follows the release of the official trailer to the group’s documentary, KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS, which will receive limited screenings in the Philippines on August 12.
