JENNIE and Doechii are all about deserving life’s greater things in their collaboration single “ExtraL.”

Produced by DemJointz, the newly released single serves as an empowering hip-hop anthem that encourages women to embrace their inner strengths and power, as exemplified by the BLACKPINK member’s unabashed confidence all throughout the track. As another impressive demonstration of her rap prowess, her fluency on the matter is perfectly complemented by Doechii’s impeccable flow, resulting in a stellar track that highlights JENNIE’s versatility as a musician.

Together with the track’s release, a special music video was also released, featuring an intriguing mix of artistic and choreographed sections that highlight her skills as a dancer. Surrounded by an abundance of classy mid-century furniture, JENNIE, Doechii, and the rest of the dancers make full use of the setting to deliver rapid bursts of energy, which ultimately pays off through the song’s memorable outro. The music video was directed by Cole Bennett and can be viewed in its entirety below.

Doechii’s participation in JENNIE’s debut album RUBY is just one of many prominent collaborations on the record, which also include guest features from Dua Lipa, FKJ, Kali Uchis, Childish Gambino, and Dominic Fike. The K-pop superstar dropped her single “Love Hangover” with Fike just a few weeks back, with the track immediately making its debut on Billboard Philippines‘ Hot 100 chart at the No. 16 spot just one week past its release.

Just recently, JENNIE also dropped a live performance video for “Love Hangover” — but this time, she performed the entirety of the track on her own, showcasing her rap prowess as BLACKPINK’s main rapper as she took over Fike’s verse. The recently released live performance serves as the first official teaser for what many of her fans can expect from the physical release of RUBY, as all physical versions of the album feature JENNIE-only recordings.

Additionally, Doechii was awarded the Grammy for Best Rap Album for her critically acclaimed mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal, which spawned the hit singles “DENIAL IS A RIVER” and “NISSAN ALTIMA.” In celebration of her first-ever Grammy win, the beloved rapper dropped a surprise single titled “NOSEBLEEDS,” which serves as an extended version of her acceptance speech at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
