K-Pop girl group IVE is set to perform in the Philippines for the first time ever, as part of their upcoming Manila stop for the ‘SHOW WHAT I HAVE’ World Tour.
Presented by Live Nation Philippines, the show is slated to happen on July 13, 2024, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Live Nation Philippines’ exclusive presale will begin early next year on March 15, 2024, with access open for fans between the period of 10 AM to 11:59 PM. General on-sale is set to happen on the next day, March 16, at 12 PM.
IVE has taken the global music scene by storm with their sensational performances and chart-topping hits, including “BADDIE”, “I AM”, and “After Like”. Just earlier this April, the six-piece act released their first studio album titled “I’ve IVE”, which debuted at the number one spot on the Circle Album Chart and sold over 1.3 million album copies within its first week of release. Also last October, the group released a six-track extended play, titled “I’VE MINE”, which sold 1.6 million copies, marking IVE’s highest first-week sales record.
Though their upcoming concert marks their first performance in the country, this will not be the first time that one of their members has visited the country. IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, was just here in the country late last week, as she served as one of the three hosts to the prestigious 8th Asia Artists Awards, held at the Philippine Arena. In the ceremony, Wonyoung accepted the award as a representative of the group –– as IVE won the Best Artist Award (Singer), alongside AKMU, ITZY, THE BOYZ, LE SSERAFIM, and SB19.
IVE’s “SHOW WHAT I HAVE” World Tour commenced last October in South Korea, and is set to continue its rounds early in 2024. As they bring “SHOW WHAT I HAVE” to Manila, fans can also expect to see the group next year in Bangkok, Fukuoka, Osaka, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taipei, and Hong Kong as their other stops in Asia.
