2024 is off to a very strong start for K-pop soloist IU, as she’s just announced the release of her upcoming mini album The Winning.
According to her agency EDAM Entertainment, The Winning will be released this February 2024 and will follow the recent release of her latest single, “Love Wins All“, which was released last week on January 24 (Monday). This EP marks her sixth mini album overall and follows the release of her last musical project Pieces, which was released in December 2021.

To accompany the announcement of The Winning, a teaser video was uploaded to IU’s official YouTube channel, showing the artist with long bleached hair, and wearing a crimson red outfit. The K-pop icon is then seen spraying a red-colored spray toward the camera, while also gazing into its lens while poised against a light green background. Just last week, the music video for “Love Wins All” was also released and featured a guest appearance by BTS’ V (Taehyung), which saw the two musicians portraying a couple set to find happiness in a post-apocalyptic landscape.

Also recently, it was announced that IU would be embarking on her H.E.R. World Tour, which is expected to take over Asia, Europe, and the United States beginning this March 2024. The Philippines has been announced to be one of the tour’s many stops, with the show where set to take place at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan this June 1.
