Illest Morena and Eliza Maturan are officially teaming up to release a song together, entitled “Lapit Kapit.”

In a press statement, the upcoming single between the R&B-hip-hop artist and the pop singer-songwriter is described as “a striking new collaboration that brings together vulnerability, confidence, and undeniable chemistry,” as it explores “the thrill of desire and emotional addiction, centering on the feeling of wanting someone endlessly.” It is characterized by “smooth R&B-pop production, a magnetic hook, and a catchy beat” that complements the song’s “themes of longing and attachment.”

Mixed and mastered by Shadiel Chan and Jan Fuertez of Nine Degrees North, “Lapit Kapit” is set to come out on February 6, 2026 (Friday). Watch this space for updates.
