HORI7ON are officially back with a new single.

On August 13, the South Korea-based Filipino boy band released their second single “DAYTOUR 2,” featuring 4 versions of the track “Sumayaw Sumunod” – their very own rendition of the 1978 hit from The Boyfriends. They announced its official release last August 9 and initially teased their comeback with a graphic poster with the words “Gusto niyo bang makisayaw? (Do you want to dance with us?”) as well as “Coming Soon.”

Alongside the single’s release, the septet premiered accompanying music videos for the song’s main version – a mix of Tagalog and Korean lyrics – and the song’s full Tagalog version. The music videos see them in a school setting, complete with matching, sailor-like uniforms while performing the track.

To commemorate the song’s release, HORI7ON are also set to hold a special comeback showcase later today (August 13), 1:00 PM (PHT) at the SM North EDSA Sky Dome in Quezon City.

The release of “Sumayaw Sumunod” follows the group’s comeback with the single “DAYTOUR,” featuring the track “LUCKY,” released last March 2.

Earlier this year, HORI7ON connected with Billboard Philippines for an interview, discussing their experience being an all-Filipino group operating in South Korea. “I don’t think there are other groups who are doing Filipino, Tagalog songs in a Korean company,” stated leader Vinci. “I’m still honored that we get to do that and [that] our company lets us still use our mother tongue in the songs we release. Hopefully, it continues to be like that. Our Filipino fans appreciate it and our Korean… all our fans over the world, they get to know the Filipino language in that sense.”

Formed in 2023 through the reality survival show Dream Maker, HORI7ON is Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus. They made their debut with the full-length album Friend-Ship, which was preceded by three pre-debut singles: “Dash,” “Salamat,” as well as “Lovey Dovey.”
