HORI7ON are set to return with new music this month.

On August 9, alongside a series of concept photos, the South Korea-based, P-pop boy group officially revealed their upcoming comeback with the release of “Sumayaw Sumunod” — a remake of the hit track from The Boyfriends, released in 1978. It is set to come out on August 13 at 12:00 PM, alongside an accompanying music video.

They initially teased the comeback last August 4 with a graphic with the words “Gusto niyo bang makisayaw? (Do you want to dance with us?”) and “Coming Soon” on their social media.

This follows their comeback with the single “DAYTOUR” earlier this year on March 2, which features the hit track “LUCKY.”

Earlier this year, Billboard Philippines linked up with HORI7ON for an interview where they shared details about their experience as an all-Filipino group based in South Korea. “I don’t think there are other groups who are doing Filipino, Tagalog songs in a Korean company,” said Vinci, the leader of HORI7ON. “I’m still honored that we get to do that and [that] our company lets us still use our mother tongue in the songs we release. Hopefully, it continues to be like that. Our Filipino fans appreciate it and our Korean… all our fans over the world, they get to know the Filipino language in that sense.”

HORI7ON was formed in 2023 through the reality survival show Dream Maker. Composed of Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus, they debuted with the studio album Friend-Ship. Before this, they released three pre-debut singles: “Dash,” “Salamat,” and “Lovey Dovey.”
