Ben&Ben Announce Upcoming Anthology Album ‘Nine’

Indie folk band Ben&Ben look back on their first nine years with their upcoming anthology album, Nine.
Officially announced on September 9, 2026, the nine-piece band revealed that the forthcoming album will arrive on September 24, 2026, marking an anthology of their music and a celebration of their first nine years together. The announcement was preceded by a profile and cover picture change, with the band’s social media pages shifting to images of a boulder-filled terrain within a forest.
Alongside the announcement, Ben&Ben unveiled the cover artwork featuring all nine members posed across the same rocky landscape, with nine box cutouts randomly placed throughout the image.
The upcoming anthology follows the band’s series of reimagined releases of their hit tracks, beginning with “Lifetime (Reimagined),” in March, followed by “Autumn (Reimagined)” in May, and most recently, “Leaves (Reimagined)” in August.
Formed in 2016, Ben&Ben consists of brothers Paolo and Miguel Benjamin on vocals, Poch Barretto on lead guitar and backing vocals, Jam Villanueva on drums, Agnes Reoma on bass, Patricia Lasaten on keyboards, Tony Muñoz and Andrew de Pano on percussion and backing vocals, and Keifer Cabugao on violin and vocals.
The upcoming album arrives as Ben&Ben prepare to bid farewell to drummer Jam Villanueva, who announced late last year that 2026 will be her final year with the band. Villanueva has been a member of the nine-piece since their formation, referred to as the “saranggola (kite)” in the band’s song of the same name, reflecting on their friendship and journey together.
The folk pop band rose to prominence with singles including “Leaves,” “Kathang Isip,” and “Maybe The Night,” before releasing their debut full-length album, LIMASAWA STREET, in 2019. The album features some of their most popular tracks, including “Pagtingin” and “Araw-Araw.”
Ben&Ben recently announced the CD and vinyl editions of LIMASAWA STREET, which are now available for pre-order through Backspacer Records. The band is also set to stage their major concert, Saranggola: The Concert, on October 2, 2026 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Nine is now available for pre-save ahead of its September 24 release.
