Hoobastank are finally coming back to Manila next year.

On November 11, concert organizer Insignia Presents announced that the American rock veterans are set to return to Manila in February 2025. This marks the first time in over 20 years since the band last performed in Manila, when they held a show at the Tanghalang Francisco Balagtas (formerly, Folks Art Theater) in August 2004.

The band’s comeback show in the Philippines is slated to happen on February 12, 2025 (Wednesday) at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. More details regarding tickets will be announced soon, so watch this space for updates.

The forthcoming Manila show is set to be a 20th anniversary celebration of the band’s Grammy-nominated album The Reason, released on December 9, 2003. The album spawned the singles “Out of Control,” “Same Direction,” and the band’s most commercially successful hit to date, “The Reason.”

Formed in 1994, Hoobastank are recognized for for their blend of alternative rock, post-grunge, and pop rock elements in their music. Aside from the aforementioned songs, they are also best known for such tracks as “Crawling In The Dark,” “Running Away,” “I Don’t Think I Love You,” and more. The Grammy-nominated rock outfit has put out a total of seven full-length albums to date, with their latest one, Push Pull, being released in 2018.
