The highly anticipated 2024 Awit Awards has come to an end.
Today (December 4) marks the conclusion of this year’s iteration of the Awit Awards, held in The Music Museum, San Juan. Celebrating this past year in Philippine music, the 37th Awit Awards celebrated the various records across the different genres that make up Original Pinoy Music. The award show paid its respective nods towards everything from viral hits to radio staples, shedding the spotlight on a whopping number of over 30 categories.
Lola Amour dominated the night, scoring three separate awards for their 2023 smash hit “Raining In Manila.” The kings of P-pop themselves, SB19, also grabbed multiple commemorations with two awards for “Gento,” and Josh’s award for “Wild Tonight.” Taking the power of P-pop on a roll for the night, BINI took the People’s Voice Awards in a near sweep with their renowned features from the year, by the likes of “Karera” and “Pantropiko.”
