Jackson Wang is back with new single.
On February 13, 2025 (Thursday), the GOT7 rapper-singer released a brand-new song, entitled “High Alone.” It serves as the first single from his forthcoming new studio album MAGIC MAN 2 — the sequel to his acclaimed sophomore album MAGIC MAN, released last September 9, 2022.
“All my life I never really told you who I truly am, how I really feel. Maybe it’s not something people want to listen to. Maybe it’s not something people even care about,” the Hong Kong multi-hyphenate stated in an announcement post for the single, teasing the new album’s release. “I’ve spent the last year understanding the Jackson I have always been avoiding. Let me tell you the truth I see. It’s all in this album. Let the story begin.”

“High Alone” is Wang’s first release since “henny” — a single he created in collaboration with cognac brand Hennessy last May 2024 — as well as “Feeling Lucky” with South Korean singer BIBI.
In other news, GOT7 recently made their first comeback as a group in three years with the mini-album WINTER HEPTAGON, serving as a celebration of the group’s 11th anniversary. Along with this, GOT7 also just concluded their sold-out three-day concert ‘NESTFEST,’ held last January 31 and February 1-2, 2025 at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul.
