FKA Twigs has just released a brand new album, titled EUSEXUA Afterglow.

Initially conceived as a deluxe edition of her third album EUSEXUA from earlier this year, Afterglow sees the famed English electro-pop musician delve deeper into the trance-like club sound of Prague’s underground music scene — weaving across soundscapes reminiscent of raves and ballroom gatherings that encapsulate the cathartic nature of nightlife. The record features a total of eleven tracks (one of which is a collaboration with fellow English musician, PinkPantheress), and features production and songwriting by acts like Ty Dolla $ign, Stuart Price, Boots, Danny Harle, and several others, including Twigs herself.

Together with the album’s release, Twigs dropped a conceptual music video for the track “HARD” directed by Jordan Hemingway, which features the musician herself showcasing her impressive skills as a dancer. “HARD words can’t explain how making this video healed my younger dancer, the little me embracing her facility and learning what amazing things MY body can do. the rehearsals for this were filled with so much love and i am still beaming from this experience,” she wrote regarding the video on her official social media platforms.

EUSEXUA Afterglow marks FKA Twigs’ fourth studio album, following its spiritual predecessor EUSEXUA, which was released earlier this January 2025. The latter received critical acclaim worldwide, with praise noted for its production style, Twigs’ vocal performance and songwriting, and the cohesive, if ambitious vision that was well-executed all throughout the record. It was also given a surprise reissue alongside the release of Afterglow, with Twigs taking four tracks off the album and replacing them with four brand new ones — including the single “Perfectly,” which featured Filipina drag queen M1ss Jade So in its music video.

The original EUSEXUA album featured a special guest appearance from North West on the track “Childlike Things” (which saw West rap in Japanese), and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Dance Albums chart upon its release, and at No. 24 on the Billboard 200 chart.
