Here Are The People's Choice Nominees At Filipino Music Awards 2025

Truly, there hasn’t been a more exciting time for Filipino music than today.

As musicians from across the nation release timeless hits, travel across the globe to share their art with international audiences, and expand the recognition of Filipino artistry, what we have come to know of Original Pinoy Music (OPM) today has expanded into a cultural phenomenon. Inspiring generations of music to come, as well, more and more artists have broken into the scene, as they introduce new genres, distinct sounds, and a hyper-local identity to Philippine craft.

Furthermore, Filipino music’s biggest night draws close, and anticipation for the reveal of nominees for the first-ever Filipino Music Awards (FMAs) continues to develop. Happening on October 21 at the SM Mall Of Asia Arena, the forthcoming awards show is set to commemorate the exponential past year that Philippine music has witnessed. Gathering the industry’s biggest artists and most influential figures, the night will be decorated with prestigious awards, moving performances, and more.

Presenting 20 awards across five major categories, the grand show will be presented by Modern Media Group Inc. — home to prestigious global titles like Billboard Philippines, Rolling Stone Philippines, Nylon Manila, and Robb Report Philippines — and produced by AGC Power Holdings Corp.

More than bestowing titles to these awardees, the inaugural FMAs aim to recognize the impact these figures have had on the Philippine soundscape, whether that be through creating music that stirs the nation, inspiring generations and fellow visionaries, or shaping the culture as a whole.

In this monumental award show, fans will be given the power to vote for a special category – the People’s Choice Awards. Making way for the public to select their choice of the People’s Choice Awards for Artist and Song, these awards will recognize the songs and local artists who have made a significant impact through the evaluation of the general public. Additionally, the People’s Choice Awards shall also spotlight the international artists who have inspired Philippine music and taken over the sonic landscape – regardless of genre. This is the only category under the Filipino Music Awards decided by public vote.
