Lola Amour, Zild, and Dilaw Nominated For ‘Alternative Song of the Year’ At The Filipino Music Awards

The Filipino Music Awards has just announced its list of nominees for the ‘Alternative Song of the Year’ category.
The inaugural lineup of songs in the running for this year’s forthcoming awards ceremony includes several heavy-hitters from the indie and alternative music scene, such as legends like Sandwich, established names like Lola Amour, Zild, and Dilaw, as well as rising stars like SUYEN and ONE CLICK STRAIGHT.

The ‘Alternative Song of the Year’ category joins the ‘People’s Choice Awards‘ as the only categories publicly revealed by the Filipino Music Awards, with the latter announcing its own sub-categories of People’s Choice Award: Artist, People’s Choice Award: International Artist, and People’s Choice Award: Song. Several renowned names and songs have been nominated in the category, including acts like SB19, BINI, G22, Rico Blanco, Cup of Joe, KATSEYE, TWICE, j-hope, SEVENTEEN, Justin Bieber, and others.
Taking place on October 21, 2025, the Filipino Music Awards is also set to feature such performers as Cup of Joe, BINI, SB19, Maki, BGYO, Ben&Ben, Apl. de Ap, IV OF SPADES, and several others. Presenting 20 awards across five major categories, the forthcoming awards show will be presented by Modern Media Group Inc. — home to prestigious global titles like Billboard Philippines, Rolling Stone Philippines, Nylon Manila, and Robb Report Philippines — and produced by AGC Power Holdings Corp.
