FELIP and PLAYERTWO announced that they will be releasing their second single together, titled “Pagdali” (Hurry Up).
The announcement comes after the release of “FLYYY” last January 19. They premiered “Pagdali” during their gig at 12 Monkeys earlier this month. In an Instagram post uploaded by PLAYERTWO, they wrote, “We don’t wanna waste your time.” The single will come out on February 2, Friday via Warner Music Philippines.
In 2023, PLAYERTWO released their debut album, which was named one of Billboard Philippines’ top albums of the year. “Rarely do debut albums show unabashed confidence so explicitly, but PLAYERTWO’s impressive HAPPY ACCIDENTS VOL. 1 serves as the perfect example of that. From its high-octane opener, “P2 Energy”, to the Awit-award nominated TikTok hit, “That’s My Baby”, the record showcases the group’s unique spark of energy that never lets up,” Billboard Philippines wrote.

While FELIP dropped his debut solo EP, COMPLEX which featured Bisaya tracks, including “MICTEST” and “CRIMINAL”. The latter was named as one of Billboard Philippines’ Top 25 Songs of 2023. “While FELIP’s debut EP has so many gems, “CRIMINAL” is an undeniable crowd favorite. The dark, moody track showcases the rapper’s vocal range and the versatility of his musicality; while lyrically, he dives deep into the complexities of being human in both English and Bisaya,” Billboard Philippines wrote.
