Felip — the solo moniker and project of SB19’s Ken — is coming back with new music.

On June 21, Felip unveiled the title of his highly anticipated debut solo album, revealing it to be 7sins. The album’s release was first announced last May 10 via Warner Music Japan.

Adding to the excitement, Felip has revealed that he has more in store for his fans alongside his debut album’s release. Last June 12, Warner Music Philippines put out an email blast, surprising fans of the genre-hopping rapper/singer. It included an image of a calendar of events pertaining to Felip’s debut album, but with certain words blacked out. “Can’t wait to break free from this — so hope you can keep a secret,” says the email. “Between us, here’s what to expect from FELIP, so get ready.”

The cryptic schedule teased some kind of announcement happening on June 21, now revealed to be the album’s title, something “Superior” on June 24, another thing pertaining to Japan on June 26, the “album release” (with the title obscured) on July 5, among others. Barely readable is an entry about an “album concert” slated for July 27. More details will surely be revealed soon, so watch this space for updates.

Last April 5, the SB19 member released his pop-punk infused single “Fake Faces,” alongside an accompanying music video. It was the follow-up to “Kanako,” another rock-centric single, which served as a love letter to his fans. Shortly after “Fake Faces,” it was announced that he was part of the Pinoy Hip-Hop Class of 2024 — the cover stars of Billboard Philippines‘ first ever Hip-Hop Issue. Joining him were fellow rising Filipino hip-hop artists O SIDE MAFIA, Tus Brothers, Zae, Hellmerry, PLAYERTWO, Illest Morena, and Hev Abi. Together, they performed in a special episode of Billboard Philippines Studios, which has since garnered nearly 2 million views on YouTube.
