F4’s Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, and Vanness Wu, along with Ashin of the Taiwanese rock band Mayday, are bringing the ‘F☆ FOREVER 1st World Tour’ to Manila.
The tour was announced by the Taiwanese record company, B’in Music, with a video of the preparations and rehearsals featuring the original F4 members.
Meanwhile, original F4 member Ken Chu will not be participating in the reunion concert, as confirmed in December 2025, following disagreements with the organizers and the absence of a formal contract. In his place, Ashin joins as a special collaborator for the tour.
The tour kicks off in Chongqing, China, from April 10 to 12, with other confirmed stops including Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia, aside from Manila.
Excitement is definitely brewing for Filipino F4 fans, as the boy group, which rose to fame with the hit 2001 Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden, has become a cultural phenomenon across Asia, including the Philippines.
The series popularized the “idol drama” genre, with a 2003 Filipino-dubbed airing earning a cult following and helping localize Asian dramas in the Philippines. It also inspired remakes across Asia, including the 2009 South Korean adaptation, Boys Over Flowers.
Since the release of the drama series, the group has released three studio albums: Meteor Rain (2001), Fantasy 4ever (2002), and Waiting for You (2007).
As of this writing, no official details about the venue, the concert tickets, or the date have been announced.
