After a two-year hiatus, Ex Battalion is back with a plethora of new music.
Over the past weekend (April 12, 2025), the renowned Filipino hip-hop collective released a surprise drop comprising seven music videos on their official YouTube page, showcasing that they’re ready to make a grand comeback very soon. The group rolled out most of the music videos in a staggered, one-per-hour release format between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
The launch of new material kicked off with “Fun,” spotlighting the core five members — Flow G, Brando, Skusta Clee, King Badger, and Emcee Rhenn — and wrapped up with “Legacy,” which also brought the same lineup together. While the majority of the tracks showcased the main members, sub-member Yuri Dope made an appearance on the track “For Me.”
Aside from the release of seven new songs and videos, the collective also teased the release of an upcoming album, with the title Best Seller. A new logo celebrating the group’s comeback was also unveiled at the end of “Fun” and was then included in every succeeding music video thereafter.
The surprise drop marks Ex Battalion’s latest music release since the release of their singles from 2022 — “Idol,” “We The Best,” and “Bullet Sun.” Should Best Seller be released on digital streaming and service provider platforms, it would mark their second album following X, which dropped back in 2016.
