The Electric Fun Music Festival has been rescheduled once again.
The highly anticipated music festival, spearheaded by Filipino rock icons Eraserheads, has now been moved to a tentative and unspecified date in the first quarter of 2026. News of the festival’s second delay was shared on the event’s official Facebook page, wherein WEU Events, the producers of the show, posted a full statement as to why it will be relaunched next year. “Our team is working diligently behind the scenes to ensure that when EFMF returns, it will be stronger, more inclusive, and more impactful than ever,” said the first part of their post.
According to WEU Events, the postponement was decided upon by the production “in light of the increasingly complex and unpredictable challenges facing us –– including political instability, economic uncertainty, and growing climate-related concerns,” making it clear that “proceeding with the event as planned would not be in the best interest of our community, artists, partners, and audience.”
This marks the second postponement of the long-awaited music festival, as it was scheduled to take place this October 18, 2025 at its originally intended venue of the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City. It was initially set to happen earlier this May 31, 2025, but was delayed to ensure that the event can be “as epic as it can be.”
Tickets to the Electric Fun Music Festival are currently still available via SM Tickets, though the production has noted that full refunds will be made available to all ticket holders. However, further instructions regarding the refund process will be posted shortly through the festival’s official pages and channels.

To Our Valued Supporters, Ticket Holders, Partners and Stakeholders,
After extensive deliberation and careful monitoring of the current local landscape, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming edition of EFMF.
This decision was not made lightly. In light of the increasingly complex and unpredictable challenges facing us-including political instability, economic uncertainty, and growing climate-related concerns-it has become clear that proceeding with the event as planned would not be in the best interest of our community, artists, partners, and audience.
AdvertisementWhile we had previously revised our timeline to October 18, these unforeseen developments have had a direct impact on our operational capacity and planning efforts. We remain committed to delivering an event that reflects the high standards and transformative experience EFMF has always stood for-and we believe postponing is the most responsible path forward at this time.
We understand the disappointment this may cause and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Please be assured that full refunds will be made available to all ticket holders. Further instructions regarding the refund process will be communicated shortly through our official channels.
As we continue to evaluate the best path forward, our team is working diligently behind the scenes to ensure that when EFMF does return, it will be stronger, more inclusive, and more impactful than ever. With renewed focus and planning underway, and assuming no further unforeseen challenges arise, we are aiming to deliver the event in the first quarter of 2026.
AdvertisementWe are grateful for your continued support, patience, and trust. Our commitment to transparency, collaboration, and artistic excellence remains unwavering, and we look forward to sharing updates with you as soon as we are able.
Thank you once again for being part of this journey with us.

The festival was first teased during the post-credits sequence of the famed rock band’s acclaimed documentary, Eraserheads: Combo On The Run, and was initially set to be the follow-up to the Eraserheads’ sold-out ‘Huling El Bimbo’ world tour, which saw them perform in several locations in the United States, Canada, Singapore, Dubai, Doha, Australia, and New Zealand.
