Ely Buendia has just announced that he has new music on the way, beginning with his forthcoming single “Bulaklak Sa Buwan.”

The brand new single marks his latest solo release since 2021’s “Metro” and is scheduled to be released later this month on August 16, 2024. With the single announcement, the Philippine rock icon also shared that the track is set to serve as the first teaser of his upcoming album, Method Adaptor.

Method Adaptor is scheduled to be released on November 8, 2024 and will be his second album as a solo artist, following the release of Wanted Bedspacer in 2000. Though he has released a sporadic set of singles over the past few years, fans of the Eraserheads frontman have been clamoring for a new full-length record to drop over the years, with many of them still celebrating his collaboration album with the late hip-hop legend Francis M, titled In Love & War, which dropped all the way back in 2010.

The release of such announcements already adds to a busy 2024 for Buendia, given the recent news of the upcoming release of the long-awaited Eraserheads documentary, the first-ever vinyl reissue of the Eraserheads’ Cutterpillow album, and the ongoing world tour of the band across North America. With what promises to be a busy latter half of the year for Buendia, fans can stay tuned as to what lies ahead for the beloved rock figure here.
