Dilaw are back with new music.

On September 27, the “Janice” hitmakers released a new single, entitled “Yiee” — a reference to the Filipino expression used when playfully teasing someone about something romantic. The song itself is a lively exploration of confessing one’s hidden feelings for a long-time friend. It serves as the follow-up to their single “Nilalang,” released last July 19.

The Baguio-bred rock band announced the track’s release last September 22. Before this, they initially teased the track via a humorous skit posted on their social media. The video included a snippet of the song’s chorus with the lyrics, “Bakit ako kinikilig sa’yo?” (“Why am I getting giddy because of you?”)

Dilaw are set to perform at Billboard Philippines: Mainstage — the one-year anniversary celebration of Billboard Philippines. Set to happen this October 15 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, they will be joined by SB19, BINI, Sarah Geronimo, Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Sandwich, and more.
